From January 12 to 15, 2026, two visiting scholars from Portugal visited the IAAEU library. Prof. Pedro Madeira de Brito and Prof. Guilherme Dray used the IAAEU library's international collection, which is one of the most important of its kind with its comprehensive holdings, for their work on comparative labour law and European labour law.

For decades, visiting scholars have been coming to Trier to conduct comparative legal research and study German and European labour law.
