On May 11 and 12, 2026, Laszlo Goerke participated in the annual Public Finance Conference at the Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim. He presented first results from a joint research project with Martin Besfamille,Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago. The presentation, entitled “Tax Evasion, Exclusionary Practices, and Competition Policy”, was very well received and discussed by Gabrielle Massenz (IFN, Stockholm). Dr. Nora Paulus, a research associate at the IAAEU from 2020 to 2022, also gave a presentation at the conference. Great to meet again at such an event.
